I am a scooter rider from South Australia. I am 11 years old. I was born In Qatar. It is a country in the Middle East next to Saudi Arabia. My mum is from Australia and my dad is from Kenya.
I started scooting when I was a baby. When I could walk, I refused to sit in a pusher so mum got me a mini micro scooter. From 18 months old I was scooting around Qatar, on airplanes, through airports, in Kenya, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Australia. When I was 3 we were on a water taxi in the Bangkok River and my scooter rolled off and is still at the bottom of that river. Mum had to find one in a shop in Bangkok because we were just about to fly to Vietnam.
When I was little we used to go to Kenya a lot and I would scoot down the main streets weaving in and out of all the people. Now that I am 10 we still go to Kenya, because we build schools there and I am still scooting all over.
For the last two years, I have been homeschooled and it’s good because I travel to Australia and the world. So far I have been to these countries: Qatar, Kenya, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Rwanda and Australia. In Australia, I have lived in Melbourne, Cairns, and now Adelaide. One of the best things about homeschooling is that my mum makes all my learning about the things I love. So my business is all a part of my education.
