We believe this program of teaching children ballet and dance is a small step in transforming an entire landscape not only for girls but for entire communities.
We are feeling so grateful to those who are supporting this through donations of shoes and ballet clothing!
In2EdAfrica not just educates children,
we also educate teachers as part of our
sustainable education program.
We help bring sustainable education to Africa by empowering adults to become teachers.
In2EdAfrica helps educate the children and
family beneficiaries in producing their own food,
mainly through planting vegetables and fruits,
and farming in general.
Being able to be self-sustainable in terms of food will help lessen hunger and malnutrition.
These school desks are made from recycled wood, are brightly coloured and beautifully finished. They aid in shifting a mindset from one where resource-poor children should be presented with a drab classroom interior.
This is In2Ed Africas football program that gives these young boys a chance to play the sport that they love. Showcasing the hidden talents within Kenya's inner city areas.
Collaborating With Existing Schools in Africa.
We are fully committed to partnering with schools as a model for greater collaboration. We currently partner through providing teacher training, building libraries, resource provision, and sharing best practice. Our partnerships provide positive changes to hundreds of children.
We make children happy with these bags with solar lights that they can use in school and at home. Your donation goes to the production of these special school bags. Many children in East Africa do not have access to a regular power supply at home. These school bags made from 100% recycled plastic bags come with an embedded solar panel that provides lighting in the home. This is life-changing because it means children will have light to use for reading and homework. This solar light is also much safer than using candles.
We strongly believe that Recycling and Sustainable Education is the foundation for prosperity in Kenya and beyond. In2Ed Africa is committed to environmentally friendly practices and we are a big believer in creating schools that are sustainable and effective. We show this commitment by raising awareness of waste management in our schools and teaching children about the need to reduce, reuse, and recycle. It is important to us that children understand why we need to recycle and that they actively share this message with their families. We believe that teaching children to be stewards for their environment will help communities to thrive and become more sustainable.
